Set on the mainland opposite the historical island of Venice, Al Passo has been serving a solid menu of simple dishes based on the outstanding fish of the Venetian lagoon for over 70 years. Sitting al fresco on the pleasant veranda, you can have a pick from the selection of crudi di mare which you can pair with the region’s unique specialities: granseola (spider crab), served with fresh tagliolini, steamed canocchie (mantis shrimp), canestrelli (tiny scallops) and during their short season the delicacy known as moeche, a kind of soft-shell crab.
