Alexandre Mazzia unusual spice-driven fusion cuisine is a result of his spending his childhood in the Congo. From his small dining room off Marseille’s Avenue du Prado, Mazzia creates plates that include smoked eel with chocolate and raspberry, langoustine with harissa and citrus and cuttlefish steamed in sake served with puffed barley and seaweed. The minimalist décor keeps guests focused on the interesting food.
