Antidote

There aren’t many places in London’s West End where you can just rock up with a few mates and crack open a magnum of amber-hued Radikon or a cult wine by Christian Tschida. Antidote takes no reservations, so is one to keep on file for an impromptu pre- or post-prandial drink or to pick up a bottle to go. The food offering is limited to cheese, charcuterie, and assorted nibbles, but the wine list is contrastingly expansive, taking in producers from Jura, Corsica, Mallorca, Roussillon, Slovakia, Switzerland … in short, wherever naturally fermented, low-intervention wine is made and enjoyed.
