Aquavit London - Closed

This is the London outpost of New York’s premier fine-dining Nordic restaurant, made famous when Marcus Samuelsson was at the helm, though this is more of a golden-hued brasserie than the formal dining experience found in New York City. Jonas Karlsson tends to the kitchen and serves a menu of Swedish classics such as shrimp skagen with toasted sourdough and dill mayonnaise, Swedish meatballs with lingonberries or roasted rump of elk with creamed root vegetables, thyme and juniper jus. The St. James Market location means it’s close to Piccadilly and the West End theaters.
