Armando al Pantheon

Opened in 1961 by Armando Gargioli, this trattoria is now run by the founder’s sons Fabrizio and Claudio and their families. Centrally located a few steps from the Pantheon, the place became famous for serving traditional Roman dishes at the highest level at prices one might associate with a tavern. Unlike the many other Roman trattorias, the pasta dishes are offered exclusively with spaghetti. The service is warm and professional and the wine list includes an extensive list of Champagnes.
