Artusi

Artusi, founded in Peckham, southeast London, in 2014, takes its name from Pellegrino Artusi, author of La Scienza in Cucina e l’Arte di Mangiar Bene. The friendly little local Italian adheres to Artusi’s key principles – seasonality and simplicity above all – and offers a short, frequently changing menu of contemporary London Italian dishes, such as magatello di manzo with celeriac remoulade and quince or cod with butterbeans, purple sprouting broccoli and preserved lemon aioli. The wine list is short but covers a lot of (Italian) ground.
