Sister restaurant to the popular Palomar, this horseshoe-shaped, counter restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden celebrates the food of Africa’s Barbary Coast. The menu offers nods to Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Morocco and Israel, serving up some of London’s most compelling food in the process. There is a focus on seafood, including dishes like octopus mashawsha served with hot, garlic-laced chickpeas. A meal here is highly coveted and walk-in only, so plan for a wait if you arrive in the evening or on the weekend.
