Café Spice Namasté

For a quarter century, Cyrus Todiwala’s restaurant was a City of London institution. It relocated in 2021, to Royal Albert Wharf in east London, where it has become a Docklands neighborhood favorite. Todiwala specializes in Goan and Parsee food, with roast chicken cafreal zambeziana, an authentic pork vindaloo or lamb dhaansaak, the classic Parsi Sunday lunch, as well as newer ideas like peppered beef tikka or beetroot and coconut samosas. The cheeriness of the contemporary dining room contrasts nicely with the docks and urban skyline visible through the window. London City Airport is just a short cab ride away.
