Cay Tre

A busy, buzzy Vietnamese canteen launched in Hoxton in 2003, now with a second, larger branch in Soho. Cây Tre attracts an eclectic bunch of diners, including families, media, students and clubbers with fresh Vietnamese food at a budget price point. It does 10 different varieties of pho, including original (simmered for over 24 hours), seafood and the special large combo with tripe, tendon and flank. Other signatures are baked oysters, bánh xèo and BBQ pork vermicelli.
