When Sebastián Martín and Lourdes Villalobos sold their fishing boat, they set up this simple restaurant in the fishing port of Caleta de Vélez. Their purpose was to offer fish that was of the same high quality and freshness as the meals they enjoyed on their boat. Each day they write the types they have available on a blackboard, which typically includes chopitos, calamaritos, octopus, strips of dried pintarroja or shrimps of Motril that are boiled, grilled or fried. Do not miss their award-winning Russian salad topped with baby shrimp that have been sautéed in the juice of the shrimp’s head.
