So successful was the formula at Kitty Fisher’s in Mayfair – a quaint town house with velvet banquettes and swanky British comfort food – the team of Oliver Milburn, Tom Mullion and Tim Steele repeated it in the heart of Covent Garden. Aged British beef is a signature, coming in the form of tartare, a juicy bavette for the top-value, pre-theatre set or a salt-aged sirloin to share with chips. Beyond beef, look to deviled whitebait and dill mayo, stuffed courgette flowers or the near-irresistible cods-roe crumpets. A wide selection of European wines available by glass and carafe.
