Located at the Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon, the name Cura is derived from the Portugese term for skill curatorship (curadoria). The kitchen is led by Pedro Pena Bastos, whose cuisine includes a strong focus on seafood. Dishes include amberjack from the Azores with cockles, wasabi and cucumber, Sagres squid with rice, beans, seaweed and elderflower and line-caught seabass with cuscos Trasmontanos, cockles and beach spinach. The wine list showcases Portugal’s regional breadth, with thoughtful inclusion of biodynamic and artisanal producers, alongside Champagne and international classics.
