In the charming canal village of Giethoorn, Martin Kruithof crafts dishes rooted in French tradition but with Dutch sensibility in a storybook setting. Located in a thatched farmhouse with lush gardens, the ambiance is serene, romantic, and timeless. Dishes include langoustine with vadouvan and pear, pike-perch with eel and watermint and oxtail cannelloni with a cepes-sauce. The wine cellar is exceptional, with deep collections from Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Italy, alongside Champagne and select New World labels.
