This recently rennovated place, open for 110 years, remains one of the most important restaurants frequented by the local bourgeoisie, the type of place that your grandparents used to frequent to celebrate special occasions. Though the interiors have been freshened up, the cuisine remains the same – a menu filled with Bolognese classics such as lasagna and tortellini (the pasta is made by hand by local artisans) and more substantial dishes like bollito misto. Wines and champagnes are offered at reasonable prices.
