When Dry Milano opened in 2013, it came as a bit of a shock for the Milanese: a pizzeria with a club vibe, for a grown-up clientele. Pairing pizzas and cocktails was something they’d never seen before. Equally disconcerting was the food itself – the first high-quality Neopolitan-style pizzeria in the city. The short menu changes frequently, but you won’t go wrong with signature dishes such as the focaccia with vitello tonnato (veal in tuna sauce) and powdered capers. Those looking to have a conversation should ask to sit in the quieter back dining room.
