Evelyn's Table

James Goodyear took over Evelyn’s Table from Luke Selby (now at Le Manoir) in 2023. Goodyear brings a wealth of experience to the intimate chef’s counter beneath The Blue Posts pub, having worked at Maaemo, Mugaritz, Hide Above, and Adam’s. There are two sittings a night for five courses of such dishes as Lake District Farmers beef with bitter greens and vegetable XO or Orkney scallop, salsify, apple and miso caramel. Wine director Honey Spencer edits the ever-evolving wine and sake list.
