In Monaco’s Hôtel de Paris, chef Dominique Lory showcases fire-grilled Mediterranean cuisine with a dose of luxury thrown into the mix at what is most likely the most expensive casual restaurant in the world. Dishes include a starter of blue lobster in refreshed melon broth with myrtle and lemongrass, Casareccia with zucchini flowers, crustaceans, lemon and saffron and Challans duck breast with roasted peach, almond and verbena. The wine list is vast, highlighting Bordeaux and Burgundy, with Provence rosés and Champagne.
