Harwood Arms

As one would expect of a gastropub led by Brett Graham, the Harwood Arms is serious about good food. Game is its raison d’être, and you’ll often find beasts shot by Graham or co-owner Mike Robinson on the menu. Joshua Cutress brings an aristocratic English touch to the kitchen: the venison Scotch egg is a must, followed by Muntjac pâté en croute with port and peppercorn jelly, then beef short rib, confit celeriac and pickled walnuts. You’ll find big-hitting wines and Sunday roasts too.
