Opened in 1987 by chef Peter Goossens, it now in the capable hands of his second, Floris Van Der Veken, after Goossens retirement. Ven Der Veken’s cuisine follows in the footsteps of his mentor with dishes such as langoustine with dashi and herbs and lamb with aubergine and miso glaze. The rural farmhouse-setting offers views over the fields of Flanders adding countryside calm to the experience. The wine cellar is among Belgium’s most extensive, offering thousands of references spanning classic French regions and top global estates.
