This restaurant overlooking the port in Getaria rivals the better known Elkano (the families are related) for the distinction of serving the best turbot in Spain. It is more of a full-service restaurant than its famous cousin, and the magnificent specimens of sea bream, grouper and flounder they also serve make this a good choice for diners looking for a more diverse meal. For dessert, their pantxineta (pastry cream with almonds) is a must. The wine list, managed by owner Igor Arregui, offers hundreds of references at very sensible prices. The choice tables are along the upper-floor windows.
