La Bombi

The old Tavern “La Bombilla” first opened its doors in 1935 in the Puertochico area of Santander. It’s a place that is dedicated to the flavors of Cantabria, which includes having their own greenhouse in order to grow produce for the restaurant. Though there is a section of the menu dedicated to meat dishes, the tasty specimens that come from the Cantabrian Sea are the stars of the show. Dishes featuring local oysters, hake, turbot, crab and lobster are all top-notch.
