Patricia Michelson’s career as a cheesemonger began in 1992 after she brought back a wheel of Beaufort Chalet d’Alpage from her skiing holiday in Meribel. As you might expect, her menus are proudly cheese-led, with tangy goats’ milk Ticklemore on a Tropea onion tarte tatin or Robiola di Roccaverano in an asparagus risotto with peas and broad beans. La Fromagerie classics include cheese and charcuterie boards and a fondue savoyarde with charcuterie and steamed potatoes. Open all day for everything from coffee and pastries to a spot of cheese and a glass of wine.
