La Petite Maison
London, United Kingdom
It may be a long way from Vieux Nice, but the celebrity- filled La Petite Maison in Mayfair (flagship of what’s now a global brand) does a good job of conveying the conviviality and charm of the original French restaurant that inspired it. Chef patron Raphael Duntoye has led the kitchen since its 2007 launch, rarely straying far from the sunny Mediterranean repertoire. Pissaladière, salade Niçoise and croquettes de brandade are a precursors to the main event: the signature whole roast black- leg chicken.
