Part of a three-restaurant group that includes La Maruca and Gran Cafetería Santander, this has to be one of the most user-friendly restaurants in Madrid, nestled in an emblematic building that began life in the early 20th century as an elegant tearoom. The nonstop service begins at 8:00 and continues until 1:00 in the morning the following day. The menu features a wide range of fish, meat, vegetable, rice and egg dishes, none costing more than 25 euros, that will appeal to many diners. They also serve one of Madrid’s most famous tortillas.
