The LeoneFelice recently got a major upgrade when it annexed the adjoining bistro, so that now all its tables overlook the very pittoresco Lake Iseo and the village of Montisola, where the late artist Christo exhibited his magical Floating Piers in 2016. Freshwater fish sourced from one of the last remaining fishermen [CE1] on the lake shines in recipes such as linguine with sardines from Montisola, fennel and bread crumbs, but chef Fabio Abbattista knows how to please the taste of his worldly clientele with elevated comfort food such as lobster roasted on the spit, friggitelli peppers and quinoa.
