L'Horta Restaurant Tavertet

After working at restaurants in nearly every western European country, as well as places in Japan, Jordi Coromina had a vision: a restaurant and a vegetable garden in his grandparent’s farmhouse in Catalunya. The trip there is arduous, but the idyllic setting overlooking the mountains of Tavertet and a kitchen dedicated to vegetables make the journey worth it. The daily menu is based on what Coromina was able to pick in the garden that morning, supplemented by other ingredients that come from the region. Beverages run from vegetable juices to kombuchas, craft beers and wines from small producers.
