Little Social

Jason Atherton's stable of restaurants grows apace, but Mayfair's Little Social, a French bistro opposite his Pollen Street Social restaurant, remains one of his most charming. Cozy leather banquettes line the wood-paneled room; in the kitchen is Frankie van Loo, who has spent the past 12 years rising through the ranks of Atherton’s kitchen. Ingredients are heritage and rare breed (Goosnargh chicken, Morecambe Bay brown shrimp), and dishes typically are finished decadently, with aged Parmesan velouté or truffle beure blanc.
