When he launched this restaurant perched atop the Marmara Pera Hotel, Mehmet Gürs was the first Turkish chef to serve what he described as the New Anatolian Kitchen. Relying on ancient grains, wild herbs and heritage meats, Gürs created dishes such as whole wheat mantı stuffed with beef or vegetable served with smoked buffalo yoghurt, tomato and roasted garlic as well as red wine & rakı marinated beef tenderloin served with fresh almond, purslane, şevketi bostan and sumac. An outstanding wine program emphasizing and spectacular views over the Bospherous.
