Marseille native, Christian Buffa, who worked for Paul Bocuse and Roger Vergé before taking the helm, leads the team of chefs that uphold this local institution, preparing rockfish, shellfish, and saffron broth tableside as if it is a religious ritual. Other specialties include grilled Mediterranean fish and Provençal seafood stews. The dining room, nautical in style, opens onto port views, buzzes with maritime energy. Wines highlight Provence whites, Cassis crus, and Bandol rosés, alongside Rhône reds and Champagne.
