Piperno

Piperno celebrates the important role that Jewish cooking played in the evolution of Roman cuisine. The restaurant is located in the ancient Jewish ghetto, and dishes like carciofi alla giudia (Jewish-style artichokes) and concia (marinated zucchini, created within the ghetto’s confines, should not be missed. There are also a number of delicious dishes that stray from the Jewish tradition, like a gnocchi Amatriciana, tripe a la Romana and a mixed fry of assorted shellfish.
