There’s nothing better at the end of a hard day at the office than visiting one of José Pizarro’s authentically enormous Spanish-style tapas bars. Pizarro is known for his obsession with jamón ibérico, accepting nothing less than acorn-fed Cinco Jotas selected by his good self in Huelva. Find it at his City restaurant in a mini ‘serranito’ sandwich, in croquetas or hand-carved in melt-in-the-mouth slivers. A blood- orange salad, some gambas and sherry constitute a balanced diet.
