Salt Yard

Spanish and Italian influences sit comfortably together at Salt Yard, one of a friendly, four-strong group of central ‘tapas’ restaurants (the others being Dehesa, Opera Tavern and Ember Yard). Pop in for sherry and some charcuterie, or snack on padrón peppers or jamón ibérica de bellota while mulling the menu. Typical dishes include roasted cod, ‘’nduja, chickpea and tomato stew, classic tortilla and courgette flower, goats’ cheese and blossom honey. The accessible Italian/Spanish wine list has a short ‘“cellar selection’” of rarities.
