Taberna La Tana

Jesús and Luisa González Martín run La Tana, the Granada tavern their mother opened almost three decades ago in the central neighborhood of El Realejo. A small kitchen offers food that is perfect for grazing: a sensational selection of cured meats, cheeses and conservas, along with pickled and salted vegetables. But the food is secondary here. The reason to visit is the wine list, with a cellar stocked with more than 10,000 bottles spread over 700 different labels. A mandatory stop for any wine lover when they are visiting Granada.
