Chef Kevin Fehling presents a highly creative cuisine at his HafenCity flagship. Titled as Tor zur Welt (Gateway to the World), it includes hamachi with Aki-caviar, red beet, poached oyster and coconut, quail ballotine with pistachio, eggplant, chickpeas, and saffron and unstuffed goose liver with strawberry, rhubarb, woodruff and asparagus. Guests sit around a sweeping wooden counter that runs the length of the dining room, creating an intimate environment with the kitchen. The wine list is international, with German Rieslings, Burgundy, and Champagne alongside global discoveries.
