In a rustic 19th-century farmhouse in Burgenland, Barbara and Alain Weissgerber’s Taubenkobel offers a deeply personal expression of nature-driven cuisine. A native Alsatian, Weissgerber did his training in a variety of top French kitchens and his tasting menus celebrates local game, Mangalitsa pork raised just a few kilometers from the restaurant, freshwater fish and foraged herbs, prepared with French finesse. Earthy yet refined interiors and a charming garden create an idyllic atmosphere. The wine list is exceptional, emphasizing natural and biodynamic producers from Burgenland and beyond.
