Winteringham Fields

In 2023, long-established Winteringham Fields, on the outskirts of Scunthorpe in Lincolnshire, entered a new era. They call it WF 2.0. They’ve knocked through chef Gareth Bartram’s kitchen to open it up to the dining room for a more immersive atmosphere. Chefs and customers interact over a seasonal tasting menu with offbeat wine matches: Longhorn beef, umeboshi, kimchi with a Uruguayan Chardonnay Viognier blend for one; lamb sweetbreads ‘Caesar’ with Stellenbosch Gamay for another.
