Opened in 1985 as a gastronomia (a term used to describe a delicatessen), Zeb Gastronomia is now a diminutive family restaurant, with counter seating reminiscent of a Japanese restaurant. The food is the epitome of Tuscan gastronomy. The name Zeb combines two important Tuscan dishes: zuppa (soup) and bollito (boiled meats), a declaration of intent that guides the entire menu, which includes preparations like fresh pasta with wild boar ragù and peposo, a beef stew cooked in full-bodied red wine laced with plenty of black pepper.
